A new version of Cloudcheck has been released, promising improved internet performance. Version 2.9 introduces several key functions:

• Speed Test:
• • Conduct a comprehensive test of your internet connection, including Wi-Fi, cellular, and broadband.
  • Select the nearest Cloudcheck test node for accurate results.
  • Identify any "bottlenecks" in your connection and determine if each link is performing at its maximum capability (rated as good, average, or poor).
  • Provide feedback on your perceived connectivity quality using the thumbs up/down feature.
• Wi-Fi Sweetspots:
• • Transform your mobile device into a Wi-Fi speed probe.
  • Walk around your environment to measure and analyze Wi-Fi speed in different locations.
  • Take notes and label each area of interest for future reference.
  • The optional audio feature simulates a "geiger counter" to enhance the user experience.
• Smartifi®:
• • Smartifi enhances the intelligence of your wireless router.
  • If you have a Cloudcheck-enabled Wi-Fi router or access point, you can activate Smartifi to benefit from its monitoring and optimization service.
  • Smartifi constantly monitors and optimizes your network from the cloud to ensure maximum performance for your Wi-Fi devices.
  • You can view the current speed of each connected device as well as the average speed over the past 7 days.
  • Smartifi also allows you to set preferences, such as blocking specific devices from accessing the network.
• Remote Management:
• • This feature enables remote monitoring and management of Cloudcheck-enabled routers on the cloud, providing the same functionality as Smartifi.
  • To ensure security, users must grant the necessary privileges when connecting to a Cloudcheck-enabled router.
